Students tell the story of a unique concept in higher education at Trinity University. The Center for the Sciences and Innovation is the largest development ever undertaken on the campus. The project includes new construction along with major renovations of existing buildings configured to create an integrated complex of approximately 280,000 square feet where students of all majors meet and learn together.
Benjamin Whetstone Schmidt made the ultimate sacrifice in the desert of Afghanistan serving as a Marine sniper. Before he left his family and girlfriend he’d planned to marry, he asked that if anything happened, his insurance policy would benefit TCU. That money is now part of a campaign benefitting a professorship at the school. We are honored to have been chosen to tell his story of always serving others.
